I had the pleasure of working with Hege following the birth of my child. I had a difficult birth that resulted in a fourth degree tear/episiotomy. I knew my recovery would be challenging, but given the dedication I gave to working out throughout my pregnancy I was committed to putting forth the work to properly recover and get back to my pre-pregnancy fitness abilities. Working with Hege greatly improved this experience.

Hege taught me breathing techniques that engaged the core muscles and pelvic floor. Through a series of exercises, she cautiously coached me on how to properly engage the core. With each passing week, I was seeing changes physically. It was really remarkable to go through this with Hege’s guidance.

Not only is Hege a great teacher and coach, but she is also a Mom with infinite wisdom from raising her own children. After having my fourth baby, I found myself more unsure about what I could or should be doing to help my body heal and recover postpartum.
